Perhaps what you need is something in between constant obligations and no obligations. Find a happy medium. Either way, I will always wish for you to find what makes you happy. Even if that takes you far away from home.

Yay! So glad you're back. I agree, there is no better way to be welcomed back home than some Chicago-style deep dish pizza. I'd imagine it's pretty weird to be back, for all the reasons you mentioned, plus, actually being able to easily communicate with people! Good luck re-acclimating yourself; I'll try to help by getting you some good old Denny's coffee tonight. :)

I'm actually making a "pop-up" 3D paper version of the Porcelain Tower of Nanjing for my 3D Design class. Is it true that their starting to rebuild/restore it? If so, I'd love to see some pictures if you're going to see it. Have fun!!

I would have LOVED to see you arguing with a cab driver in Chinese. I think it is so badass. I can just picture it. :)

I'm glad you were right about Josh coming; it would have sucked given all the anticipation. Hope you have a great time with your family. Can't wait to see you when you get back.

You have to come home one day earlier, I need help with my square for the Relay for Life quilt- it's due the 4th.
Seriously, you have been on an amazing journey & I know this decision was hard for you. You're a smart one to know when to pull the plug.
This early exit means another opportunity is ready to unvail itself. We're always where we're supposed to be when we need to be.
Enjoy the time with the parental units, they're going to love seeing China with you.
See you soon!
Love,
Kris
